Networks

Michael A. Padlipsky (May 9, 1939 to March 3, 2011), known as MAP or Mike, was an early member of the working group that developed the ARPANET networking protocols underlying today's Internet, and an internetworking polemicist. His book The Elements of Networking Style has been described as a vicious critique of the OSI networking standards effort, written when the OSI model was trendy and many were promoting its seven layer approach.
