Connects a piece of software, such as an operating system, database or other system, a programming language or a framework, to the software license it is distributed under, such as the MIT License, the Apache License 2.0 or proprietary terms. The inverse reading, Licenses, names the same link from the license toward each piece of software distributed under it. This relation gives the license classification already recorded as an enum fact on each system, language and framework a durable entity identity; it does not replace that enum fact, which keeps classifying each one exactly as before.
