Elm is a domain-specific programming language for declaratively creating web browser-based graphical user interfaces. Elm is purely functional, and is developed with emphasis on usability, performance, and robustness, using a variation of the model-view-update architecture that has since influenced state-management approaches in other frameworks such as Redux. Elm compiles to JavaScript and was created by Evan Czaplicki.
