The Sunway TaihuLight is a Chinese supercomputer designed by the National Research Center of Parallel Computer Engineering and Technology and located at the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, in Jiangsu province, China. Its name translates as divine power, the light of Taihu Lake. At its debut it ran nearly three times as fast as the previous Chinese supercomputer, Tianhe-2.
