The Z80 Operating System with Relocatable Modules and Input/Output management, known as Z80-RIO, is a general-purpose operating system developed by Zilog in the late 1970s. It ran on Zilog's own Z80 Micro Computer System (MCZ-1) series and Z80 Development System (ZDS) hardware, and was used primarily to support software development and automation work, letting programs move from development into production environments. Z80-RIO was closed-source and proprietary, offered a command-line interface, and has since been discontinued along with the hardware families it supported.
