Permissive Open Source Licenses

Licenses that allow software to be used, modified and redistributed with few conditions, usually only keeping the copyright notice and disclaimer, and that let derived work be released under other terms. It covers the BSD family, the MIT and ISC licenses, the Apache License, the PostgreSQL license and similar short grants. A license belongs here when it places no obligation to share modifications in source form. It excludes licenses that require derived works to stay open, which are grouped under the copyleft groups.
