Simulation Language

OpenQASM, short for Open Quantum Assembly Language, is a programming language for describing quantum circuits and algorithms so that they can be run on quantum computers, developed by IBM and first described in a paper published in July 2017. It acts as an intermediate representation between higher level quantum programming tools and physical quantum hardware, in a role comparable to a hardware description language such as Verilog, and it supports quantum operations together with classical control based on measurement results, as well as explicit timing and gate calibration information. OpenQASM is built into IBM's Qiskit framework and its IBM Quantum Experience cloud platform, and its specification has progressed from an original version 2.0 to the current version 3.0. It is released under the Apache License 2.0. This description is adapted from Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0; changes were made. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
