KasperskyOS

KasperskyOS is a proprietary, partially POSIX-compliant, microkernel-based operating system Kaspersky Lab built from scratch using secure-by-design principles, using its own independently developed microkernel rather than existing code or libraries. It targets network equipment, industrial control and IoT gateways, connected vehicles, smart city infrastructure and other systems needing strong cybersecurity, dependability and predictable operation, and it enforces security through a minimal trusted kernel, strict isolation of user-space components, default-deny policies and the Kaspersky Security System's formal policy controls. The system reached official release in 2017, and a community edition is available for prototyping and education, tested on platforms including Intel, NXP i.MX, TI Sitara, HiSilicon Kirin and the Raspberry Pi 4.
