Andrea Carol Arpaci-Dusseau is an American computer scientist and professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, interested in operating systems, file systems, data storage, distributed computing and computer science education. With her husband Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau she co-authored the open textbook Operating Systems: Three Easy Pieces, downloaded millions of times yearly and used at hundreds of institutions worldwide. She shared the SIGOPS Mark Weiser Award with her husband in 2018 for outstanding leadership, innovation and impact in storage and computer systems research, and was named an ACM Fellow in 2020 for contributions to storage and computer systems.
