Krishna Palem

Krishna V. Palem (born 1963) is a computer scientist recognized for pioneering work in probabilistic and inexact computing, exploring the trade-off between strict computational precision and gains in energy efficiency and scalability, with influence on energy-aware computing, embedded systems and scalable AI architectures. He has held academic positions at NYU Courant, Rice University, Georgia Tech, Caltech and the Hebrew University, beginning his career at IBM. In 2022 he founded Accelequant, a venture-backed company focused on hybrid classical and quantum computing platforms, where he serves as chief executive officer.
