Neil Siegel

Neil Gilbert Siegel (born February 19, 1954) is an American computer scientist and computer engineer known for developing key systems for the United States military, including the Blue Force Tracking system, the U.S. Army's first unmanned air vehicle system, and the Army's forward-area air defense system. As of 2016 he holds multiple professorial positions at the University of Southern California, including IBM Professor of Engineering Management and Professor of Computer Science Practice with Distinction, and he also serves as an adjunct professor of engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles.
