Stephen W. Keckler

Stephen William Keckler is an American computer scientist and Vice President of Architecture Research at NVIDIA, where he has worked since 2009, and an adjunct professor of computer science at the University of Texas at Austin, where he was on the faculty from 1998 to 2012. He earned a BS in electrical engineering from Stanford in 1990 and an MS and PhD in computer science from MIT in 1992 and 1998, and led the TRIPS architecture research group at UT Austin, developing scalable parallel processor and memory system architectures including non-uniform cache architectures and explicit data graph execution processors. He received the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award in 2003 and is a Fellow of both the ACM and the IEEE.
