Sushil Jajodia

Security And Privacy

Sushil Jajodia is an American computer scientist known for his work on cybersecurity and privacy, databases, and distributed systems. He is University Professor, BDM International Professor, and founding director of the Center for Secure Information Systems at George Mason University, and also directs an NSF center for cybersecurity analytics and automation. He earlier directed database programs at the National Science Foundation and headed the Database and Distributed Systems Section at the Naval Research Laboratory. He earned his PhD from the University of Oregon in 1977, and his honors include the IFIP TC 11 Kristian Beckman Award in 1996 and the IEEE Computer Society W. Wallace McDowell Award in 2020.
