Query Language

PL/SQL (Procedural Language for SQL) is Oracle Corporation's procedural extension for SQL and the Oracle relational database, adding procedural constructs such as conditional branching, loops, and exception handling to standard SQL statements. It closely resembles Ada in its syntax, allows the declaration of variables, procedures, functions, packages and triggers, and every SQL statement can be directly executed from within PL/SQL code.
