Befunge

Esoteric Language

Befunge is a stack-based, reflective esoteric programming language originally designed in 1993 by Chris Pressey, notable for the fact that its instructions are laid out and executed on a two-dimensional grid, with the instruction pointer able to move up, down, left or right and even change its own direction and modify the code during execution. Befunge was created partly to be as difficult to compile as possible, deliberately frustrating straightforward compiler design.
