Margaret Martonosi

Margaret Rose Martonosi is an American computer scientist who is the Hugh Trumbull Adams '35 Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University, noted for her research in computer architecture and mobile computing with a focus on power efficiency. She was co-chair of the CRA-W Board from 2016 to 2017 and an Andrew Dickson White professor-at-large at Cornell University from 2016 to 2022. In 2019 she was selected to head the National Science Foundation's Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering, serving from February 2020 through December 2023. She received the ACM-IEEE CS Eckert-Mauchly Award in 2021.
